+ Did you know?

Allergies affect 1 in 5 Americans across the nation and are considered the 6th leading cause of chronic illness in the United States.

+ Who Should Be Tested?

Any person who suffers with sinus, headaches, rhinitis, asthma, sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, earaches and many other symptoms are candidates for allergy testing.

+ How do I schedule allergy testing?

Talk to your provider about allergy testing, or reference one of our locations to find one of our partnered providers today!

+ What Should I expect from testing?

Allergy testing is simple, all you need to do is talk to our allergy technician about what medications to avoid prior to testing and come to our Thrive Allergy location nearest to you.

When you arrive, our technician will review paperwork with you and discuss the process of testing. The percutaneous testing will last 20 minutes, and if intradermal testing is deemed necessary, this test will only last 10 minutes.

The technician will read your test results and give you a copy of everything you showed an allergic reaction to throughout the test. The technician will also talk to you about treatment options as deemed necessary by the test results. You can expect to be in the office for 40-60 minutes from start to finish.

+ Does my health insurance cover this service?

Your allergy technician will call and verify eligibility and benefits with your insurance carrier prior to testing you or starting you on treatment.

Most insurance carriers cover this service under your medical plan’s wellness benefit or under your Primary Care benefits!

+ What is required prior to testing?

An ear, nose, and throat exam is performed by the provider. The provider determines if testing is medically appropriate.
